““Thus says the LORD who made it, the LORD who formed it to establish it (the LORD is His name): ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’” Jeremiah 33:2-3 NKJV
Notice in the above scripture that God tells us to call on Him. In other words, to pray. Even if you have not kept up your prayer life and you feel somewhat guilty, God will not hold that against you. He wants you to call on Him in the good times and the not so good times. In either case He says He will answer you when you call to Him and move greatly in your life and future.
He will even do things you didn’t expect. He will do things that will overwhelm you. God can’t help Himself… that’s His nature. He desires to enrich and deliver you, but He asks you to call upon Him. He wants you to pray and ask Him to move powerfully on your behalf.
You may feel undeserving of His blessings, goodness, or deliverance. Your emotions may be telling you that you are not qualified to partake of His great love and grace. Look away from yourself. You can always find fault in yourself and your actions. Your approach to God in prayer in not based on you, but rather on the precious blood of Christ which puts you in a powerful position to approach God in prayer with confidence.
God said when you call on Him, HE WILL ANSWER. What will His answer be? That He will show you great and mighty things that you can’t imagine. In other words, His answer will be better than your prayer petition. He will answer above and beyond all you can ask or think. Ephesians 3:20.
Honor God by honoring the above scripture. Your part is to call on Him regardless of your circumstances… good or bad. As you do you can expect answers from God of peace, wisdom, healing, provision, and victory.
