You have to be living under a rock to not know about the pandemic that is effecting the lifestyle of the entire world today.
In trying and turbulent times, we as the church of Jesus Christ need the strength and encouragement of each other now more than ever. The church is not a building of brick and mortar but the community of believers who recognize the power of unity.
“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.”
Notice the bestowed blessing is on God’s people when we live together in unity. Staying connected brings goodness, pleasantness and life to all who will not forsake the community of Christians.
Even though we can not come together physically because of the current precautions, let’s communicate through phone calls, texts and even social media. A reassuring call or text goes a long way to push back fear or worry, letting our fellow believers know that GOD is not surprised by all this and He had the answer before the problem even got here.
There was chaos and up-evil in Jerusalem the night Jesus was betrayed and crucified. It looked like all was lost and the hopes and dreams for a better future had vanished. But 3 days later everything changed with Christs’ resurrection and a great victory was won. I believe the same thing will happen in the days ahead. Let’s keep rejoicing and trusting God together.
Though the church is not having open services right now, please stay connected to our encouraging Facebook posts and watch Facebook live on Sundays at 10am until we are able to meet together again. I have a special word from the Lord I want to share with you. Be encouraged GraceLife family. Jesus is Lord. He will not forsake us. Our best days are still in front of us. Cindi and I love and pray for you regularly.
